Setting up your Teralo account is quick and straightforward. This guide walks you through the process.

Creating Your Account

From an Invitation

The most common way to join Teralo is through a project invitation:

  1. Open your invitation email - Look for an email from Teralo or the project host
  2. Click the invitation link - This will take you to the sign-up page
  3. Fill in your details:
    • First name and last name
    • Email address (usually pre-filled from the invitation)
    • Create a secure password
    • Phone number (optional but recommended)
  4. Verify your email - Click the verification link sent to your email
  5. Complete your profile - Add any additional information

Direct Sign-Up

You can also create an account directly at teralo.co:

  1. Click Sign Up or Get Started
  2. Choose your account type (Guest or Host)
  3. Enter your details and create a password
  4. Verify your email address

Completing Your Profile

After creating your account, complete your profile for the best experience:

  • Profile Photo: Help team members recognise you
  • Phone Number: For important project notifications
  • Date of Birth: For account verification purposes
  • Organisation Details: If applicable

Accessing Teralo

Once your account is created, you can access Teralo on any device:

  • Web: Sign in at app.teralo.co from any modern browser
  • Desktop: Download the native app for macOS or Windows
  • Mobile: Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

Account Security

Keep your account secure:

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Enable email notifications for login alerts
  • Review connected devices regularly in Settings > Security
  • Sign out of devices you no longer use
