Mail & Correspondence

View and send formal project correspondence from one place. This guide explains how to work with the mail register as a guest.

Accessing Mail

If you have been granted mail permissions, you can view and send formal project correspondence. You can see all mail on the project, so you have the full picture of what has been communicated.

The mail register lists all threads. Open a thread to see its complete history, including:

  • The full message history.
  • Recipients on the thread.
  • Any attachments.
  • The current status.

Replying and Composing

You can keep a conversation going or start a new one:

  • Reply to an existing thread to respond in context.
  • Compose new mail to start a fresh thread.

When addressing mail, add recipients from the project directory. Start typing a name and the autocomplete will suggest matching people, so you do not need to remember exact details.

Attaching Content

You can attach supporting content to your mail, including:

  • Documents from the project.
  • Photos.
  • Whiteboards.

This keeps everything relevant to the conversation together in one thread.

What Guests Cannot Do

Managing mail templates and signatures is handled by the host. If you would like a template or a standard signature set up, ask your project host.
