What platforms does Teralo support?

Teralo is available on:

Where can I download the desktop app?

Download the Teralo desktop app from teralo.co. The app is available for macOS and Windows. After installation, sign in with your existing Teralo account.


Where can I download the mobile app?

The Teralo mobile app is available from the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Search for "Teralo" and download the app. Sign in with your existing account.


What features are available on mobile?

The mobile app provides access to all core Teralo features including:

  • Project dashboard and navigation
  • Mail and correspondence
  • Document viewing
  • Inspections and quality/safety tools
  • Photo capture with automatic timestamps
  • QR code scanning for sign-in/sign-out
  • Site diary entries
  • Observations and incident reporting

Can I take photos from the mobile app?

Yes. The mobile app integrates with your device camera. Photos taken through Teralo include automatic timestamps and location data. You can attach photos to inspections, observations, incidents, site diary entries, and mail.


Does the mobile app work offline?

The mobile app requires an internet connection for most operations. Some features may cache data locally for viewing, but creating and submitting records requires connectivity.


What keyboard shortcuts does the desktop app support?

The desktop app supports several shortcuts:

  • Ctrl+T (Cmd+T on Mac): Open new tab
  • Ctrl+W (Cmd+W on Mac): Close current tab
  • Ctrl+N (Cmd+N on Mac): New window
  • Ctrl+Plus/Minus: Zoom in/out
  • F11: Toggle fullscreen
  • Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac): Quick search

Does the desktop app auto-update?

Yes. The desktop app checks for updates automatically and notifies you when a new version is available. Updates include new features, improvements, and security patches.


Can I use multiple tabs in the desktop app?

Yes. The desktop app supports tabbed browsing similar to a web browser. Open multiple tabs to view different projects or sections simultaneously. Use Ctrl+T (Cmd+T on Mac) to open a new tab.


How do push notifications work on mobile?

The mobile app supports push notifications for:

  • New mail received
  • Items assigned to you
  • Approval requests
  • Calendar event reminders
  • Overdue item alerts

Configure notification preferences in Settings > Preferences to control which notifications you receive.


Is my data synced across devices?

Yes. Teralo syncs data in real time across all devices. Changes made on one device are immediately visible on others. Your account, permissions, and preferences are consistent across web, desktop, and mobile.


What are the minimum system requirements?

Web: Any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)

Desktop: macOS 12+ or Windows 10+

Mobile: iOS 16+ or Android 10+


How do I sign out of a device?

To sign out of any device, go to Settings > Security & Access. You can also view and manage active sessions across all your devices from this screen, and remotely sign out of specific devices if needed.
