Record, track, and manage workplace incidents and injuries to maintain safety compliance and identify trends across your projects.

Incidents

Recording an Incident

  1. Go to Project > Incidents > Register
  2. Click Create Incident
  3. Enter incident details:
    • Date and Time: When the incident occurred
    • Location: Where on site
    • Incident Type: Select from configured types (e.g., Near Miss, Property Damage, Environmental)
    • Description: What happened
    • Photos: Attach supporting evidence
  4. Save the incident record

Incident Types

Configure incident types to match your reporting requirements:

  1. Go to Project > Tools > Incidents (or Organisation > Tools > Incidents)
  2. Create types such as:
    • Near Miss
    • Property Damage
    • Environmental Incident
    • Security Incident
    • Equipment Failure
  3. Activate relevant types per project

Incident Register

The incident register provides a complete record of all incidents on the project:

  • Filter by type, date range, or status
  • Sort by date, severity, or type
  • View incident details and attached evidence
  • Track follow-up actions

Injuries

Recording an Injury

  1. Go to Project > Incidents > Injuries
  2. Click Create Injury
  3. Enter injury details:
    • Injured Person: Who was injured
    • Injured Person Type: Worker, visitor, contractor, etc.
    • Date and Time: When the injury occurred
    • Nature of Injury: Type of injury sustained (e.g., laceration, sprain, fracture)
    • Body Part: Area affected
    • Description: How the injury occurred
    • Treatment: First aid or medical treatment provided
    • Photos: Attach relevant evidence
  4. Save the injury record

Injury Types Configuration

Configure injury classifications:

  1. Go to Project > Tools > Injuries
  2. Set up:
    • Injured Person Types: Worker, visitor, subcontractor, public
    • Nature of Injury Types: Laceration, fracture, burn, sprain, etc.

Cause Analysis

Document the circumstances surrounding each injury:

  • Contributing factors
  • Root cause identification
  • Environmental conditions
  • Equipment involved
  • Corrective actions taken or planned
