Organisation Setup
Set up your Teralo organisation to start managing construction projects. This guide walks you through the initial configuration.
Creating Your Organisation
When you sign up as a Teralo Host, you'll be prompted to create your organisation:
- Organisation Name: Your company or business name
- Description: Brief description of your organisation
- Business Number: ABN, ACN, or equivalent business identifier
- Discipline: Primary business type (General Contractor, Developer, etc.)
Organisation Branding
Customise your organisation's appearance:
Logo
Upload your company logo:
- Go to Organisation Settings
- Click Upload Logo
- Select an image file (PNG or JPEG recommended)
- Crop and position as needed
- Save changes
Your logo appears on project dashboards and communications.
Cover Photo
Add a cover image for your organisation:
- Go to Organisation Settings
- Click Upload Cover Photo
- Select a wide image (recommended 1200x400 pixels)
- Adjust positioning
- Save changes
Office Locations
Add your office locations for multi-office organisations:
- Go to Organisation Settings > Locations
- Click Add Office
- Enter office details:
- Office name (e.g., "Sydney Head Office")
- Street address
- City, state, postcode
- Country
- Phone number
- Save the location
Setting a Primary Office
Designate one office as your primary location for mail and communications.
Mail Configuration
Set up your organisation's mail prefix:
- Go to Organisation Settings
- Find Mail Prefix
- Enter your preferred prefix (e.g., "ABC" for ABC Constructions)
This prefix appears on all outgoing mail (e.g., ABC-001, ABC-002).
Organisation Tools
Configure default tools and templates for your organisation. These defaults are then activated on individual projects.
Core Tools
- Mail: Types (RFI, Site Instruction, Variation, General) and statuses
- Documents: Types, disciplines, and statuses
- Contracts: Contract types and statuses
- Budget Codes: Cost codes for financial tracking
- Procurement: Procurement categories
Quality & Safety Tools
- Inspections: Reusable inspection templates with sections and check items
- Incidents: Incident type classifications
- Injuries: Injured person types and nature of injury categories
- Observations: Observation types with custom fields
Site Operations Tools
- Meetings: Meeting types with agenda templates
- Equipment: Equipment types with custom fields
- Permits: Work permit types
- Submittals: Submittal types and specification sections
- Program: Schedule settings and calendars
- Method Statements: SWMS types
- Inductions: Tiers, job titles, license types, medical questions
