Finding a record you half remember, and asking a question instead.
Command K
From anywhere in Teralo, Command K on a Mac or Control K on Windows opens the search palette. Type a few letters and results come back grouped by module: contracts, documents, mail, procurement, inspections, observations, meetings, equipment, permits, people, even settings pages. Select one and you land on the record. Search respects permissions, so you only ever see what you are allowed to.
The habit worth building is to stop navigating to things. Half a subject line from an RFI, a contract number, a person's name: it all works.
AI Chat
The second tool goes further: instead of finding the record, it reads the records and answers the question. A fresh conversation offers quick-start chips, but the value is in asking your own question in your own words, such as what is outstanding on a particular contract.
How it answers
It does not guess. You can watch it search the project's actual records, each lookup appearing as a collapsible summary you can expand to see what it read, and then it answers from that. It is grounded in this project rather than opinionated about construction in general, and the answer streams in as it writes.
Drafts you approve
The chat can also act, not just read. Ask it to draft an observation or a piece of mail and it prepares a draft card with the fields filled in. Nothing is created until you review it and press approve, so it saves the typing without ever acting on its own.
Usage is metered against a weekly organisation allowance. Day to day questions barely dent it.
