Folders, uploads, versions, and opening a drawing without downloading it. If your current process is a shared drive with folders called "latest" and "latest final", this is the tool that replaces it.
The register
Every document on the project in one table: number, title, revision, type, discipline and status. Group by discipline and the set folds into Architectural, Structural, Electrical and the rest, which is usually how the team thinks about it anyway.
Opening a drawing
Documents open in Teralo's own viewer, so nobody needs CAD or a PDF reader to read the current set. The viewer handles PDFs, Office files, DWGs and IFC models, and it carries markup tools: clouds, shapes, text, ink and measurements you can calibrate to the drawing scale. Every markup records who made it and when, and can hold a comment thread pinned to the spot it is about.
Revisions
A document keeps its revision chain. Superseded revisions stay readable and clearly flagged, so when someone builds off an old print you can show exactly when the set moved on. Issuing a new revision is one upload from the document itself: the number and history stay intact, the previous revision is marked superseded, and everyone with access sees the new one immediately.
Transmittals
A transmittal is the formal record that you issued specific documents, at specific revisions, to specific people. Recipients are notified, and the register keeps the receipt. Months later, when someone says they never got a drawing, this is the tab that settles it.
