Photos
Capture site photos and organise them in albums.

Found in each project. What's the difference?
Hosts decide access; guests see every project photo once given the tool.
Photos is a project's photo library, organised into albums. Teralo reads each photo's date taken and camera details from the file.
Photos has two tabs:
- Gallery: photos grouped by the day they were taken, newest first. Photos with no date taken sit under No date.
- List: photos and albums with the columns Name, Date Taken, Modified and Size. Select a column header to sort by it.
The Albums strip at the top shows the albums in the one you're viewing. Use the breadcrumb to go back up.
The search box filters the album you're viewing. To search all photos, use the search at the top of Teralo (Ctrl+K, or ⌘K on a Mac).
- Open the album to upload into.
- Select Upload.
- Choose the images, or drag them into the box.
- Select Upload.
You can also drag images straight onto the page. Photos takes image files only.
- Open the album to add the photo to.
- Select Take Photo.
- In a browser, choose the Quality, and optionally turn on Timestamp to print the date and time on the photo.
- Take the photo, then select Use Photo, or Retake to try again.
In the mobile app, Take Photo opens the device camera and uploads the photo straight away.
- Open the album to create it in, or stay at the top level.
- Select New Album.
- Enter the Album Name, and optionally a Description (optional).
- Select Create Album.
Creating an album needs Can manage photos, albums, and settings.
- Drag photos onto an album in the Albums strip, or onto the breadcrumb.
- Or select photos, select Move, choose the album, then select Move Here.
- Select the photos.
- Select Date.
- Choose the Date taken, then select Update.
The photos move to that day in the gallery.
Select a photo to preview it, then select Info for its Photo Details: the file's name, size and type, the date taken, and the camera's make, model and settings.
The date taken comes from the camera. A photo taken with Take Photo in a browser is dated when it's taken. Teralo also stores any GPS coordinates in the file, but doesn't show them.
- One photo: in the preview, select the download icon.
- Several photos: select them, then select Download. Each photo downloads as its own file.
Warning: Deleting a photo is permanent.
- Select the photos.
- Select Delete, then Delete.
You can also delete a photo from its preview, with the trash icon. Deleting an album keeps its photos, which move to the top level.
The attachment picker on site diary entries, inspection items, observations, incidents and mail has a Photos source, which lists the library. It needs Can view project photos and albums.
A guest with access to Photos sees every photo on the project.
Photos has no settings page.

Uploading alone doesn't open the Photos page. It needs Can view project photos and albums as well.
