Direct Costs

Costs outside a contract, entered from invoices and sent to accounting.

What you will learn

  • What is a direct cost
    Open the Direct Costs tab to see each cost grouped by type with its vendor, status and total.

  • Create direct costs from invoices
    Upload an invoice with Create Direct Cost, or several with Bulk Upload, and check the fields they fill in.

  • Send a cost to accounting
    Move a cost to an exporting status and see the Accounting card show it posted and locked.
