What you will learn

• What is a permit
  Open the permit register to see each permit's type, zone, validity and status.

• Apply for a permit
  Select New Permit, complete the details, hazards, personnel and pre-start checklist and select Apply for Permit.

• Approve a permit and work through its checklists
  Approve a submitted permit, save each checklist and complete the Start work, Complete work and Close out permit steps.

• Hold, cancel or export a permit
  Use Put On Hold, Cancel Permit and Export PDF from the permit's header.
